Palworld has many elements to excite and delight players into wanting to try it. Some will be coming in hopes of collecting all the various Pals — especially sought-after Pals like Jetragon . Some will want to make some guns and really get into the combat aspects of the game to take down the various boss towers . However, some players are intrigued to try out a new take on the survival genre of games and develop a base run by the very Pals they capture.
If players are going to have their base run smoothly, they will need to ensure their Pals are well-fed. This means making sure their bases are self-sustaining and generating plenty of food. One of the triumphs of human agriculture is wheat, and once you have a functioning farm, your Pals will never go hungry.
How To Get Wheat Seeds
The easiest method of getting Wheat Seeds is to simply purchase them from a Wandering Merchant. When you happen to come by one of these merchants, it is best to buy some up . However, there is also a Pal that has Wheat Seeds as a drop item for killing or capturing it — and that Pal is Dinossom . Head to Dinossom habitats, as shown in the image above , and attempt to either capture or kill a bunch of them to get some Wheat Seeds . Keep in mind, if you capture one, you can then use the Meat Cleaver to butcher it in order to get even more drops .
How To Grow Wheat
Now that you have Wheat Seeds, it is time to grow some wheat . Head back to your base and open up your Technology tab — you will need to have at least 2 available Technology points . Once you have confirmed you have enough Technology Points, move down to Tier 15 and use those 2 points to unlock the Wheat Plantation . You will also need to use 3 Wheat Seeds, 35 Wood, and 35 Stone in order to build this Wheat Plantation.

There are many different Work Suitabilities in the game, each shining in different areas. There are 3 in particular that you are going to need for farming. Ironically, the Farming Work Suitability is not one of them — that is what you will use for your ranches . The three Work Capabilities to focus on for growing your Wheat will be Planting, Watering, and Gathering . Pals with Planting will plant crops in the plantations you have set up. Pals with Watering will provide water for all structures that need it — including your plantations. Pals with Gathering will come along and harvest all the ready crops from your plantations — then the cycle repeats. Petallia is particularly noteworthy as this Pal has both a Lv 3 in Planting and a Lv 2 in Gathering.

How To Make Flour
Once you have turned your Wheat Seeds into a functional Wheat Plantation , you will move on to the next step in the process — turning that Wheat into Flour . To accomplish this, you will need to unlock and build a Mill . Open your Technology tab back up and head back down to Tier 15 — here is where you will find the Mill structure. Just like the Wheat Plantation, this structure will cost you 2 Technology Points to unlock it. Once that is done, you will need 50 Wood and 40 Stones to build it at your base.

Once the Mill has been built, select the Recipe option and you will see Flour. To make it you will need 3 Wheat . Flour is one of the key ingredients you will need in order to make a cake in Palword . Along with 2 Flour, you will also need to go and get 8 Red Berries, 8 eggs, 2 Honey , and 7 Milk . You will also need to progress your Technology up to Tier 17 in order to get the Cooking Pot. If you plan on baking a lot of cakes , you may want to set up a Berry Plantation next.
