Some of the bestselling and highest-rated video games in the last few years have featured Troy in a lead or supporting role. However, thanks to his talent in voice acting, he manages to sound different enough for it to not always be obvious that a character's voice is his. Some of his most successful roles have come from his work with Naughty Dog, which is a PlayStation first-party studio. Most notably, Troy has served as both the voice actor and motion capture actor for Joel in The Last of Us and The Last of Us 2 . This role highlights Troy's ability to display complex emotions through his voice acting, and it also shows off his singing talents. Troy has also lent his voice acting talents to the Uncharted series where he plays Sam Drake, who is Nathan Drake's brother, in Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: The Lost Lega
Kiefer Sutherland's casting as Big Boss in The Phantom Pain was controversial, with many fans upset over David Hayter's absence. Then, when Kojima's The Phantom Pain 's prologue, Ground Zeroes , was released, fans realized that Sutherland's version of Snake would be a man of few words, speaking far less than the character that Hayter voiced. While many fans came to appreciate what Sutherland and Ecodir.net Kojima accomplished with their reimagining of the character, it was hard not to feel as if a major Hollywood star like Sutherland could have been given more substantial dialogue. Casting Sutherland in a Death Stranding sequel would allow the Lost Boys and 24 actor to show off his full talent in a Kojima video ga
Ever since the original Metal Gear in 1987, Hideo Kojima has been infusing his video game creations with his love for movies, and this cinematic passion has recently reflected itself in Kojima's casting of his 2019 release, Death Stranding , and perhaps in a potential sequel. The game's performers include Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, and Lea Seydoux, and there are additional cameos from big names such as Guillermo Del Toro and Nicolas Winding Refn, each directors that Kojima admires. Apparently, Kojima had even more celebrities in mind, and he's revealed that he almost cast Keanu Reeves in an important role, which opens the door for the actor appearing in possible Death Stranding
The sci-fi genre has always found ways to imagine what our futures could look like. From foreseeing resource shortages to close encounters with extraterrestrial beings, there are many possibilities and stories revolving around our potential paths. However, in some cases, those probabilities come true. This has happened several times in video games which has left gamers and non-gamers alike surprised, fascinated, and distur
You often stumble across the empty husks of cities, only ever interacting with fellow human beings in cutscenes or through disparate holograms spread across identical facilities dotted across the landscape. It all feeds into the narrative and worldbuilding, but simultaneously it points to a limited experience, or one that is yet to reach its full potential. This is where Death Stranding 2 comes into view, and how a sequel building upon everything the original game managed to achieve would be monumental. Give Kojima Productions an equal level of freedom alongside a decent budget and watch the project blossom. That’s all we need.
During the game, players will encounter a conversation between the Colonel and Raiden. It is here that ‘fake news’ is unveiled describing the phenomenon whereby people will avoid the larger forums of discussion and debate and retreat into their echo chambers. That they will stay in such bubbles and consider that ‘the truth’. As the Colonel says „They stay inside their little ponds, leaking whatever „truth“ suits them into the growing cesspool of society at large.“ Sound famil
It’s pretentious, cringey, nonsensical, and so far up its own ass, yet it’s also honest and heartfelt in what it wants to be, and we need more games like that in the triple-A space. Death Stranding 2 could enhance everything its sibling managed to achieve or result in something entirely unique, and I’m more than ready for either of those possibilities.
A tragic character through and through. Dutch’s last words reflect the realizations he’s had about his life and how it has become stacked against him. A charismatic man who tried to reform the world around him and live free by his ‘code’, Dutch was also addicted to needing to be great and would at times compromise his values to uphold his so-called ideals. Dutch possessed the understanding that change is simply inevitable and that he would be condemned to fighting
Many might not even notice it, but Troy Baker has lent his voice to a startling number of video games and animes. He also has a long music career in the alternative rock scene and was a lead singer for the band Tripp Fontaine. According to Troy, his voice acting career began with him doing radio commercials in Dallas. Eventually, he found himself working for Funimation, where he did English dubbing on a number of anime shows including Dragon Ball Z , Fullmetal Alchemist , and One Piece . Without Troy, some of the most beloved characters in gaming may have sounded very differ
